Biography

Walter Bernhard (ヴァルター・ベルンハルト Varutā Berunharuto?) was a terrifyingly powerful vampire lord who served as the initial main antagonist in Castlevania: Lament of Innocence. However, it is later revealed that his actions, unbeknownst to him, served a higher purpose. He is, chronologically speaking, the second vampire to be faced by the Belmont Clan (after Joachim Armster) and his actions would unwillingly and without his knowledge be responsible for the long confrontation between the Belmonts and Dracula.
