Biography

Vergil is the leader of "The Order" and twin brother of Dante in DmC: Devil May Cry. As Dante's younger brother, he is a Nephilim born to the demon Sparda and the angel Eva. He opposes Mundus's tyrannical rule over humanity, and enlists his brother's help in gaining revenge on the demon king for tearing their family apart. After Mundus' defeat, Vergil reveals his true intentions, becoming the hidden secondary antagonist and final boss of the game. He is also the protagonist of "Vergil's Downfall", an additional DLC chapter for the game that picks up where the story of the main game ends.
