Biography

After the end of the "Heroes Reborn" arc, Thor returned to mainstream continuity with the rest of the Avengers. It was during this time that Dan Jurgens started a run writing a new volume for the Thunder God which lasted six years, ending only to make way for the Ragnarok arc. Jurgens' work on Thor includes Thor vol. 2 #1–58 (issue 59 was written by Christopher Priest), then 60–79, the Annuals for 1999, 2000, and 2001, and issue 24 of Thor (vol. 6) in 2022.
