Biography

That Man, also referred to as the Gear Maker, is a major character in the Guilty Gear series. He is the creator of the Gears and their commander Justice, and is the target of Sol Badguy's revenge. Until the events of Xrd Rev 2, he had three servants—the faithful Raven, the unpredictable I-No, and the mysterious Jack-O' Valentine—, who frequently acted on his behalf while he remained behind the scenes. He made his playable debut in Guilty Gear -Strive- along with Asuka R#, a clone of himself he made after the events of the Story Mode, who most of the time is used in promotional material for the game and collaborations.
