Koriand’r (Zendaya), aka Starfire, is an alien princess from the planet Tamara. Her planet was attacked, and her older sister Blackfire, the new ruler after their parents’ death, is forced to send her off into slavery in order to save their world. She escapes and finds her way to Earth. After she looks for a place to settle down where she can assimilate, at least as much as a woman with orange skin, super strength, and the ability to shoot star bolts from her arms can. She chooses Key West in Florida and meets with the local sheriff, Stella Gomez (Michelle Rodriguez), just as a hurricane suddenly turns and threatens the island.Starfire picks up the pieces and finds her new home in the aftermath of the storm! But while our hero helps her community heal, a creature from the underworld emerges to threaten all she hopes to protect! What is this creature's hidden motive? And why does it seem to get bigger every time Starfire punches it? The battle for Key West continues as Starfire and her new ally, the hero known as Atlee, square off against a mysterious beast from below! Can Kori defend her new friends and family from this new threat? And what is the creature's dark secret? Starfire and Stella journey underground to visit Atlee’s home-but it’s changed since she left! While things heat up near the Earth’s core, will Sol and Kori’s friendship follow suit? It’s a girls night out-super-style! Partying in an underground kingdom has never been so weird! And Starfire, Stella and Atlee have an adventure interrupted when an old enemy makes good on his promise to destroy Atlee. Starfire’s underground adventure continues as she, Atlee and Stella find themselves all shook up in the kingdom of Strata, where they form bonds before heading back to Key West-where things have gotten a little...weird. Starfire is finally figuring out the world around her as she surrounds herself with her new friends and extended family for a romantic and wild end to her Key West adventure.
