Biography

Siena Bjornerud is an actress, dancer and musician/singer-songwriter (performing under the name Siena Bjørn). Bjornerud has been acting professionally since around 2019, with her feature debut being Underdog as Julia, and the same year, she released her first single, "Kitkats & Raspberries", with her first album coming out in 2022, End of an Era. A multi-talented artist, Bjornerud has even directed five of her own music videos. Her other acting credits include Static (2021), You Are the Ocean (2021) and The Hill (2023). Born in Seattle, Washington, and raised in Denver, Colorado, Siena began her artistic career dancing for the Maine State, Pacific Northwest, and Colorado ballet companies. She now focuses on expression through acting, having trained in theatre at New York University, Tisch Drama. Siena continues to hone her abilities as an actress in Los Angeles as the protégé of world renowned actor Dabney Coleman. Siena has also made a name for herself as a powerful, soul singer. Siena has recorded in studios across the country and worked with esteemed producers to develop her sound. She is currently working on her next ep project, a jazz-infused sultry record that is sure to capture listeners worldwide. Bjornerud is a name of Norwegian ancestry and Siena has talked about her connection with the country, going so far as to make her stage name, "Siena Bjørn", complete with the slashed o from Danish, Norwegian, Faroese, and Sámi languages. According to Bjornerud, her last name means "Red Bear", and she's always appreciated the ambition and capability her heritage has afforded her (via Motivation). Her slow-growing success has shot off on a steep trajectory thanks to a 2023 performance in the cast of Dennis Quaid's The Hill.
