Biography

Saw X is a 2018 American horror film and the tenth installment in the Saw film series, that serves as both a direct sequel to Saw (2000) and a prequel to Saw II (2001). It is directed by Darren Aronofsky and written by Alex Garland, James Wan, Leigh Whannell and Eric Heisserer. The film stars Willem Dafoe and Jami Gertz reprising their roles from the previous films, with Christine Taylor, Keanu Reeves, Charlotte Vega, and Hector Kyles. Set between the events of the first two films, Gabriel Agreste (Dafoe) travels to Chicago in hopes an experimental procedure may cure him, later discovering a scam within the operation. As retribution, he kidnaps those responsible and subject them to his trademark death traps.
