Marina Elali

Marina de Souza Dantas Elali (born April 6, 1982) is a Brazilian singer and songwriter. Born in Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, daughter of a Carioca dad and a Palestinian mother and granddaughter of Pernambuco parents, she graduated in music and singing at Berklee College of Music, in Boston. After the season in the USA, the artist participated in the program Fama, on Rede Globo, and soon scored the song “Você”, by Roberto and Erasmo Carlos, as the theme of Deborah Secco and Murilo Benício in the soap opera “América”, in which she made a special appearance in the last chapter. Among her hits, the highlights are "Eu Vou Seguir", a theme by Míriam, Gabriela Duarte's character in the soap opera Sete Pecados, and "One Last Cry", a theme by Nanda, performed by Fernanda Vasconcellos in the soap opera Páginas da Vida - one of the most carried out across the country in 2006 and 2007.
