First appeared in Iron Fist #15 in 1977 and was created by Chris Claremont and John Byrne. John McIver took on the name Bushmaster after entering a life of crime. When he was a crime boss, Misty Knight infiltrated his organization although she revealed herself when he revealed his plans for the Iron Fist. He later forced Dr. Noah Burstein, who gave Luke Cage his powers, to do the same for him. He is one of the two main antagonists of the second season of the live-action Luke Cage series.read more
