Joe Siracusa

Joe Siracusa is a sound effects designer and editor who started out as a drummer for Spike Jones's band. In 1959, he was hired by Jay Ward Productions as a sound designer and editor for The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show, creating many of the show's distinctive sound effects. Two years later, he moved to Format Films, where he did editing on The Alvin Show, The Lone Ranger and several mid-60's Looney Tunes. Then in 1971, he moved to Producers' Sound Service, now exclusively doing sound editorial for DePatie-Freleng Enterprises.
