James "Jimmy" Olsen is the best friend of Clark Kent and Winn Schott, the ex-boyfriend/good friend of Kara Danvers, and the ex-boyfriend of Lucy Lane and Lena Luthor, the brother of Kelly Olsen, Originally a photojournalist of the Daily Planet known for being friends with Superman, James became the art director of CatCo Worldwide Media in National City, where he helped Kara with her heroism. He was later promoted to CEO of CatCo by Cat Grant when she took a leave of absence from the company.
