Biography

The original, nineteen-issue series, published from 1976-1978, including a 1977 annual, (officially) introducing the Eternals, all written and penciled by Jack Kirby. This series introduced the Eternals Ikaris, Ajak, Domo, Sprite, Kingo Sunen, and Gilgamesh/The Forgotten One, their combined essence, the Uni-Mind, their archenemies, the Deviants (including Brother Tode, Ransak the Reject, and Karkas), and their creators, the Celestials (notably Arishem, Jemiah, Hargen, Nezarr, and Tiamut). It also retconned Sersi, Thena, Zuras, Valkin, and Makkari as being Eternals.
