Biography

Quincy McIver, the second Bushmaster, first appeared in Captain America #310 in 1985 and was created by Mark Gruenwald and Paul Neary. Quincy McIver became the second Bushmaster after his brother John, the first Bushmaster, had died and was given bionic arms and a cybernetic tail by Seth Voelker of Roxxon Oil who was also Sidewinder of the Serpent Society and recruited him into the organization. In the live-action series Luke Cage, he is the father of John McIver/Bushmaster, rather than his brother.
