Allen Dulles
Allen Welsh Dulles was the first civilian Director of Central Intelligence, and currently the longest-serving director of CIA. During his tenure, he served as one of the masterminds (together with his brother John Foster Dulles) behind the 1953 Iranian coup d'état and the 1954 Guatemalan coup d'état. He also initiated the top secret MKUltra project and oversaw the invasion of the Bay of Pigs: after its embarrassing failure at the hands of Fidel Castro's Cuban Revolutionary Armed Forces, he was relieved of his duties by President Kennedy, though he was later one of the main figures in the investigation of his assassination.read more
