Biography

Father Alexander Anderson (アレクサンド・アンデルセン神父,, Arekusando Anderusen Shinpu?) is a major antagonist in the Hellsing series created by Kohta Hirano. He is voiced by Norio Wakamoto in the Japanese sub and Steven Brand in the English dub. He is an expert monster hunter and the arch-rival of Alucard. He lives in Italy, operating an orphanage outside Vatican City. Anderson's body is genetically modified to be a Regenerator, a superhuman able to fight supernatural creatures. In the English dub of the anime and OVA, he is portrayed as having a Scottish accent, though canonically his nationality is unknown. He serves as the foil to Alucard, as an antagonist and type of anti-villain in the series, both in the anime and the OVA series.
