Yuri Katsuki, Japanese figure skater waiting to retire, decides to come back to his training when his idol, Russian iceskating legend Victor Nikiforov, offers to be his coach. Young Russian promise Yuri Plisetsky wants instead Victor to be his coach. A new competition begins, that will culminate in the real Grand Prix of ice skating.
