Jay is the son of Sonic and Amy Rose. He comes from the future, but not Silver's future. He came by accident and is unsure of how to get back to the year 2045. Jay is a rebellious and cocky teenage hedgehog, much like his father Sonic. But he inherits his mother's compassion and empathy for others.
