With Furor, now an Indigo Lantern, and Calamity, now a Bird of Prey, the Young Justice was the world's last hope along with Leo, Aurora and Fred. They struggled to strategize a plan of attack against Mara; how do you defeat someone with no weakness? Then Fred began to remember of something his father had kept secret for years: a weapon capable of permanently removing the powers of Superman himself, golden Kryptonite. Fred believed there was a chance that the shard could possibly render Mara powerless, eliminating the threat of her entirely. Fred used his father's technology to find the secret location of the only shard of golden kryptonite. Being the tactitian he is, Batman put Superman's greatest weakness where he would never expect it...directly under his nose under the icy floors of the Fortress of Solitude.
