The four headed out against the Joker and his gang with the help of an armoured Lex Luthor and Harleen Quinzel, more sane than ever but still just as deadly. The war of Happy Harbor was a brutal one but it came to a shocking climax as the Joker was finally reunited with his puddin. With a smile on his face and without hesitation, the Joker shot Harley in the head for her betrayal over 17 years ago. In a mad fury, April rushed to her mother and held her as she died in her arms.
