York is the 6ft 200 lb man who served Lewis and Clark on their exploration of America along with Sacagawea. Many have never heard of him, but he was one of the four main explorers on that epic journey. He was a slave of the Clark family, but served as a hunter, guide, translator, and caregiver on the journey. The Native Americans were fascinated by him and called him "Big Medicine".
