Synopsis

Earl Jenkins is suffering from seizures. He blames his condition on mineral poisoning he received at LuthorCorp. In an attempt to get Lionel Luthor's attention and some information that might help his doctors treat his condition, he takes hostages inside the plant. Lex Luthor successfully bargains for the release of the hostages by bravely becoming a hostage himself. Clark, Atem and all their frinds use their powers to find the mysterious Level Three, but there are no answers there.

Description of Earl Jenkins:

Earl Jenkins worked as a janitor at the LuthorCorp Plant No'3 and assigned to clean Level Three, a secret area make agricult experiments utilize meteor rock to sped up growth of corn crops. The green mist fertilizer is applied to the crops. There's an explosion as Earl is cleaning and the green mist got all over his skin. The experiment is shut down and Earl is transferred to Metropolis..Months later, he began have violent shaking seizures as his body tried to push the meteor rock out of his body. As the condition worsens, Earl lost his job and leave his wife and baby. Medication didn't work to control the problem and Earl, desperate to find a cure, sought out Lionel Luthor in Metropolis.
