Synopsis

Cello prodigy Jenny has one goal: to get into a prestigious music conservatory. When she meets mysterious, handsome Jaewoo in her uncle’s Los Angeles karaoke bar, it’s clear he’s the kind of boy who would uproot her careful plans. Description of Jaewoo:

Bae Jaewoo, the love interest of the book is the main vocalist for fictional K-pop band XOXO. He has a sister (Joori) and mother who he supports financially. He is good friends with Nathaniel, another member of XOXO and is very dedicated to his work, although he feels pressure and anxiety at not being good enough. He tries to look out for his members as much as possible, but neglects to look after himself sometimes, leading to him feeling overwhelmed and having to run away. He is kind, thoughtful, supportive and funny, and a good match for Jennie.
