Mutants are the next link in the chain of evolution. Each was born with a unique genetic mutation, which at puberty manifested itself in extraordinary powers. In a world filled with hate and prejudice, people feared them. Charles Xavier assembles a team of young mutants named the X-Men to protect a world that fears them. One of Charles’ colleagues known as Magneto has other plans to fight prejudice, which is to conquer humanity.
