Mystique takes over the Brotherhood and launches terrorist attacks around the world against anti-mutant activists which leads world governments to implement the Sentinel program to hunt mutants. The X-Men team up with Mystique’s daughter, Rogue, to stop Mystique’s plan and investigate Bolivar Trask who has kidnapped the first class of X-Men to train a new generation of Sentinels.
