Synopsis

As his father Reed was unable to fix his loss of power, Franklin began to doubt his father's intention. When Charles Xavier tried to convince Franklin's parents that their son should join the new nation of Krakoa, Franklin and Kitty Pride went for a walk without telling them. This caused the Four to seek him out, with Human Torch mistaking Kitty's outing for kidnapping Franklin. When the X-Men and Fantastic Four began to argue again, Franklin tried to enter the Portal, but passed through it. Reed revealed that he had built a device on Franklin that made the Portals not recognize Franklin as a mutant. This left Franklin frustrated and eventually he, and his sister Valeria, decided to board Carrasca to reach Krakoa. After Kitty discovered them, they were greeted by Doctor Doom. He brought them to his hidden island where he kept Latvia's mutants safe and promised Franklin to finally fix his power problem.
