X-Men: Mutant Revolution is a American superhero film directed and produced by Bryan Singer and written by Simon Kinberg from a story by Kinberg, Jane Goldman, and Matthew Vaughn. The film is based on the Marvel Comics superhero team The X-Men, the fifth mainline installment of the Marvel film series and is the sequel to X-Men First Class. It stars an ensemble cast, including Gary Oldman, Sam Worthington, Scott Eastwood, Evan Rachel Wood, Joel Edgerton, Nathalie Emmanuel, Natalia Dyer, Florian Munteanu, Lily James, Joe Kerry, Liam Hemsworth, Naomi Scott, Jeremy Irons, Ana De Amars, Milo Gibson and Jason Isaac. The story, inspired by the 1987 Uncanny X-Men storyline Mr Sinister and the Cold War, The X-Men must battle Mr Sinister, who has teamed up with Magneto.
