Synopsis

Charles Xavier and Erik Lehnsherr owns a school for mutants where they teach their students how to properly use their powers. Charles gets wind recent activity from Mystique, a dangerous shapeshifting mutant who's out to kill successful scientist Bolivar Trask, and it's the X-Men's task to stop her, but their mission ends in catastrophe.

Description of Boliver Trask:

Bolivar Trask is a robotics expert and scientist who grew up feeling concerned about the steady increase in mutants who possess incredible powers. Trask saw this as a potential problem and thought of a way to fix it, by creating mass destruction robots, so called sentinels, that could help him control the mutant population. Trask is killed my Magneto in a shocking twist for the team, but not before the sentinels are launched, which triggers a final battle.
