Synopsis

1964. Mutantkind is just being discovered, but due to the ideology of that time, their powers are being seen as a threat, both by society and politicians. But not everything is lost. A group of mutants are willing to prove people wrong about their kind, but their methods will divide them into two.

Description of "You're not children anymore. You're X-Men now!":

During a rally for Senator Kelly, Erik kills him in a brutal way and starts endangering the civillains around, but Xavier and his students, who are there too, work together to save them. After an intense battle, some people start respecting mutants, but, due to Lehnsherr's actions, other increase their hatred towards mutants. And since every hero needs anonimity, the group decides to adopt an alias for each one of them, thus giving birth to the X-Men. The final scene consists on the X-Men testing their new equipment (designed by Moira MacTaggert) and preparing to fight in the Danger Room at Xavier mansion.
