Apocalypse is a mutant who wants to create a new world, but he is interrupted when he sees his future end at the hands of the X-Men. As a result, Apocalypse travels back in time to kill a young Professor Charles Xavier in order to prevent the assembly of the X-Men. The team is now scattered across the world and most of them are in prison, but some still remain. Cable and the rest of X-Force must reassemble the team in order to defeat Apocalypse.
