(Played by Henry Thomas in Season 1 of Stargirl and Alex Collins in Season 2). Charles McNider was a doctor and the member of the Justice Society of America known as Doctor Mid-Nite. McNider lost his sight, but was able to compensate by developing a pair of goggles to bring back his vision. On Christmas Eve of 2010, McNider was murdered by a member of the Injustice Society of America known as the Shade. Even after his death, his A.I. remained intact in his goggles which would later be used by Beth Chapel.
