Joe Fixit is the alternative personality representing Banner's happiness, arrogance, and stubbornness. Joe Fixit was born out of fond childhood memories of watching gangster flicks with his mother, the name specifically originating from Bruce's fantasies of being a Godfather-like mafia don like from the films he grew up with. Joe is a stereotypically mobster type: a loudmouth, brash, hotheaded, and always willing to take a chance. He is also quite the gambler often saying if he ever got the front seat, the first thing he’d do is open a casino with “that Avengers money”.
