Description of Abdullah:

Abdullah is a carpet merchant in the Bazaar of Zanzib, in Rashpuht. He loves to daydream that he is a long lost prince of a far away kingdom. He is constantly pestered by his father's first wife's family, and feels that he is always at the bottom of "the pecking order". He meets Flower-in-the-Night, daughter of the Sultan of Zanzib and they plan to elope but she is kidnapped by a djinn. Abdullah journies to save her they have a double wedding with Prince Justin and Princess Beatrice. They build a modest house in the Folding Valley and become Ambassadors to Ingary.
