Released May 11, 2011, The naive Diana believes the time is now for the Amazonians to reveal themselves to Man’s World after pilot Steve Trevor lands on their shores. Her mother, Queen Hippolyta, refuses to listen because of the last war they fought in. Hippolyta fought in World War II trying to stop Ares but failed to kill him because of Zeus’ interference. Because of this, Hippolyta refuses to trust men and gets close to killing Trevor. However, after hearing about the war in the Middle East, Diana escapes with Steve Trevor thinking that Ares has returned. She takes it upon herself to personally stop the war by finding and killing Ares.read more
