  • ojmcclanahan Abigail Cowen all the way... I don't understand the race bending choice. Why cast a girl of color to play Batgirl when Barbara Gordon is a ginger in the comics. I don't see a point in adapting comic book characters for live action if the actors playing aren't gonna look as much like the comic character as they possibly can. Race bending and gender bending established characters is absurd in my opinion. WB has race swapped every redhead characther in DC's cannon and it's nonsense. If a filmmaker wants an ethnically diverse Batman, make a Cassandra Cain movie. Leave the Barbara Gordon, her pale skin and her red hair the hell alone.
