Synopsis

After being imprisoned for three years during the Vietnam War, James Logan Howlett decides to get revenge on the people who put him there. However, thinking he's getting medical treatment from the army medic he befriended, he involuntarily gets into an experiment where, an alloy called Proto-Adamantium, is surgically graphed to his entire skeleton. After this Wolverine tracks down his enemy though familiar faces from the war. Takes place in 1974 then 1977

Description of Sabretooth (Victor Creed):

Victor has always seen Logan as competition ever since they met in WWII but during the Vietnam war he grew jealous of Logan and Raven's relationship and wanted to prove to both of them that he's better than Logan by possibly killing him
