The kindly and approachable father of an evangelical family that takes Kenneth Tyler in for a few days. He is an alcoholic, and frequently claims he has quit, but the kids know he keeps a jar of alcohol hidden in the home. It’s implied he can get violent when drunk, but never remembers. He may have a short temper, but he loves his family and wants very badly to do right. When Sutter tracks Ken to their home in the mountains, he disembowels Claude for refusing to give Ken’s next movements, and then promptly slaughters the whole family. He is aged in his mid-40’s.
