Unlike her optimistic predecessor, the Fifteenth Doctor treated situations far more realistically, taking into account prior battles with her enemies in order to defeat them. Her wisdom was akin to that of the Third Doctor, and this continued into how she talked to those around her, treating them as equals, but being prone to insults and frequently having to educate them. She was no-nonsense, but would be more than happy to exchange her serious tone for pleasantries when no threat was apparent.
