Outwardly grouchy and cold, the Eleventh Doctor exhibited many of the traits of his predecessor, including his harshness towards his enemies. He was willing to do whatever it takes to save others, and inwardly, was as warm, calm and compassionate as ever. However, it would take a while to show this. He began as quite distant and brooding, but throughout his time with Sunetra, upon meeting his past incarnations, and especially after meeting Emma Armandio, he became much more light-hearted and jovial, albeit still extremely dark.
