The Doctor is called to Gallifrey by the Lady President Hartsran. Romana has vanished from the universe without a trace & Hartsran wants the Doctor & Archime to find her. They follow Romana's path & soon find themselves outside of the universe, where Daleks conducting experiments on their own evolution.
