  • jakubduda About small coastal town and its residents, each struggling with their dilemmas. These seemingly separate lives become intertwined through their connections to the town's historic lighthouse. The old, now-defunct lighthouse looms over the town. The town decides to restore the lighthouse. Claire, a nurse and single mother, feels overwhelmed with her responsibilities and emotional distance from her teenage son. She becomes involved in the lighthouse restoration project as a way to reconnect with her son, who volunteers. This project brings her into contact with Ethan, another single parent grieving his wife’s death. They fell in love while working together to rebuild their families. Frank, the former lighthouse keeper, feels forgotten by the world. His daughter, lawyer Emma returns to town to care for him. Frank becomes a mentor to David, a carpenter hired to restore the lighthouse, teaching him about life. David falling for Emma. Leo, a former boxing coach turned diner owner, takes a special interest in Jack, a former marine dealing with PTSD. Maggie returns to town to write about lighthouse’s history. She reconnects with her old love, Tom, who gave up dreams of stardom. Sara returns to town after a messy divorce, trying to figure out her new life. She strikes up an unlikely friendship with Diane, an artist new to town. Henri, a Humorous French chef, opens a small bistro, which becomes a meeting place for many, like Sara, Claire's childhood best friend, who has returned to town after a devastating divorce. Lily, the town’s doctor or a successful fashion designer Anna, who returns after mother’s death. Tony a quirky, warm-hearted bookstore owner who secretly writes poetry. Jenny, Claire’s younger sis who want to open Yoga studio. Ray, the town’s only mechanic, who’s struggling to keep his business. Sheriff Roy, who is close to retirement. Martin, a local fisherman, widow and old friend of Frank and Ethan, or Élodie, a young and shy who works in Tony’s bookstore and is dau of Henri. Town needs money and then there appears old Ellie, wealthy widow of the town’s former mayor and gives her money to the people. The lighthouse’s restoration brings people together in unexpected ways. Leo and Jack involve the town’s youth, and Maggie’s article brings national attention to the project. As they rebuild the lighthouse, the characters also rebuild their own lives. When they are close to finish it, the storm strikes. Hurricane left and town comes together after the storm to finish the lighthouse. In the final scene, the lighthouse light shines for the first time in decades and brings new fresh start for everyone.
