Synopsis

After a bank heist goes wrong, part-time vigilante and professional hacker Aiden Pearce's niece is killed in a car crash due to a hitman hired by mysterious figures associated with the bank. Aiden proceeds to use his technological advancements to hack into the citywide surveillance system ctOS, in order to find out who is responsible, and make them pay for his niece's death.

Description of Jackson Pearce (Jacks):

After a failed attempt to hack into the Merlaut Hotel, his uncle Aiden took him and his sister on a trip to Pawnee. However, on the way, a Chicago South Club hitman named Maurice Vega and his partner attempted to kill Aiden by shooting out one of the tires on the car, causing it to crash; although he and his uncle survived the crash, his sister did not. The crash and the death of his sister caused him to develop post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), making it extremely difficult for him to speak to anyone except his mother.
