Synopsis

After a bank heist goes wrong, part-time vigilante and professional hacker Aiden Pearce's niece is killed in a car crash due to a hitman hired by mysterious figures associated with the bank. Aiden proceeds to use his technological advancements to hack into the citywide surveillance system ctOS, in order to find out who is responsible, and make them pay for his niece's death.

Description of Aiden Pearce (The Vigilante):

Aiden Pearce (also known as "The Vigilante" and "The Fox" by citizens and the media) is a highly-skilled grey hat hacker who has access to the ctOS of Chicago using a highly specialized smartphone, the Profiler. Because his reckless actions led to a family tragedy, Aiden has taken to a personal crusade against the powers that be. His obsession with security, surveillance, and control, borders on the paranoid and dangerous, extending to monitoring his own family (unbeknownst to them).
