The Ancients sent a scouting party for any allies willing to help them. Then the first one they found was Black Doom and the Black Arms, ravenous and destructive creatures that eat their victims and leave nothing behind, which is perfect for the Master King. Black Doom is even promised to eat their victims inhabitants of Mobius. He had one of his soldiers teleport to where the Chaos Emeralds were and snatch them so he could become Devil Doom!!!! After Spikeguard sacrificed himself, Thornshield fought him and punched the Emeralds out of Black Doom, giving them back to Chaos so that, as Perfect Chaos, could wipe out and drive away Black Doom & the Black Arms. Chaos banished Black Doom from Mobius. But Black Doom prophecies that he’ll create a vanguard for Mobius so that he can take it over, and not even Chaos will stop him when that time comes.
