Synopsis

The series follows a group of five teenaged girls who become the guardians of the classical elements of water, fire, earth, air, and energy, and protectors of the mythical Kandrakar, the centre of the universe, from people and creatures who wish to harm it. The story follows them as they handle their new powers, their responsibilities, and their lives as teenagers.

Description of Hay Lin (Guardian of Air):

Hay Lin's family is of Chinese origin. She has long blue-black hair which she usually wears in two pigtails and brown eyes. She often wears bright-colored clothes. Part way through the series, she begins to wear dental braces, which she later had removed.
