Coastal Studios, originally known as Coastal Carolina Sound Studios, is a recording studio located in Wilmington, North Carolina. The company was founded by Scott Houle in 1993. It specializes in audio services for the entertainment industry, from ADR, dubbing and foley to narration and sound effects. In June 2003, the company announced plans to closedown. It began doing business again that October, under the name Phoenix Post Sound. In 2007, the company changed its name to Coastal Studios.
