Synopsis

"Unveiled: The Hala Sedki Story" chronicles the life of Hala Sedki, a trailblazing Egyptian filmmaker, actress, and activist, whose indomitable spirit and fearless pursuit of her dreams defied the conventions of her time. Born into a conservative society in the early 20th century, Hala's story begins amidst the backdrop of a rapidly changing Egypt. From a young age, she defied societal expectations by expressing a profound interest in the arts, particularly cinema. Despite facing immense opposition from her family and society, Hala persisted, determined to carve her own path in the male-dominated world of filmmaking.

Description of Honouma Habib Khalil Al (Madiha Yousri):

Madiha Yousri was an Egyptian film and television actress. She starred in dozens of classic Egyptian films over the course of her career, spanning a time of over 50 years. Her work spanned genres from drama to comedy to tragedy. Yousri was also very known for her support to Egypt's president Abdel Fattah el-Sisi and the 26 of July revolution. She was also appointed by late President Hosni Mubarak as a member of the Shura council in 1998.
