If there is one other person who experienced Alex O'Connell's death as badly as his parents, it was his uncle Jonathan, with whom they had already been through so much because of his "little butts. ". He left to live in France to try to think of something else but, when Evy asked for help, he did not hesitate in the least and, by meeting the "monsters", he too understood that there were always people left in this world to fight for. It was he who convinced Hyde to switch sides, eventually finding himself a new best friend.
