Under Milk Wood is a play by Dylan Thomas that depicts the lives and dreams of the people in a small Welsh fishing village called Llareggub. The play is divided into two parts: the night and the day. The night part introduces the characters through their dreams, revealing their hopes, fears, secrets and memories. The day part shows the events and interactions that happen in the village, such as weddings, funerals, affairs and gossip.
