Synopsis

The small northwest town of Twin Peaks, Washington is shaken up when the body of the Homecoming Queen, Laura Palmer, is discovered washed up on a riverbank, wrapped in plastic. FBI Special Agent Dale Cooper decides to come to the town and solve Laura Palmer’s murder and……..wait…..haven’t we done this before?

Description of The Big Twist (SPOILERS!!!):

As Cooper walks through the lodge, he begins to hear something. It’s the sound of screaming. As Cooper gets closer and closer, he finds the source of the screaming. It’s…….Laura Palmer. Not her doppelgänger but was actually her. Cooper grabs her hand and decides to take her out of there, only to encounter THE ARM. The three find themselves back in the waiting room, and THE ARM decides to tell them the truth. THE ARM calls out to someone behind the curtains and two figures enter the room, a man and a woman.   • ringothedrummer Continued: They’re oddly familiar to Cooper and Laura. THE ARM then reveals the truth, the man and the woman are Cooper and Laura. THE ARM explains that after an event, the lodge somehow was able to reconstruct the universe and start from scratch….but it wasn’t perfect. As THE ARM points out, Cooper was still able to remember these events, even if they were different.
