Transformers: Rise of Galvatron

Two years after the Battle of Mission City, the Autobots continue protecting Earth while searching for the remaining Decepticon forces. Peace is shattered when Shockwave and Soundwave unveil their greatest achievement—the resurrection of Megatron as the more powerful Galvatron. Determined to avenge his defeat and conquer both Earth and Cybertron, Galvatron reunites the Decepticons, including Starscream, Soundwave, Shockwave, Mixmaster, Scorponok, Long Haul, Ravage, Rampage, Sideways, Thundercracker, and the towering Devastator. As war erupts once again, Optimus Prime leads Bumblebee, Ironhide, Ratchet, Sideswipe, Mirage, Wheeljack, Elita One, Arcee, Chromia, Drift, Hot Rod, and Jetfire against Galvatron's overwhelming assault. During a devastating battle, Galvatron mortally wounds Optimus, leaving the Autobots leaderless. Inspired by Optimus' sacrifice, Hot Rod rises to command, temporarily taking on the mantle of Rodimus Prime and rallying the Autobots against impossible odds. The war claims heavy losses. Arcee, Chromia, and Elita One fall defending humanity, while the Autobots destroy Mixmaster, Rampage, Ravage, Sideways, and ultimately Devastator, preventing Earth's destruction. With the Autobots on the brink of defeat, Sam Witwicky uses the Matrix of Leadership to resurrect Optimus Prime. Knowing the battle cannot be won through strength alone, Jetfire sacrifices himself, allowing Optimus to merge with his ancient armor and unlock a powerful new form. Empowered by Jetfire's final gift, Optimus overwhelms Galvatron's forces in an epic final battle. Though Galvatron survives, he orders a retreat alongside Shockwave, Soundwave, Starscream, Thundercracker, Long Haul, and Scorponok, vowing that Earth's victory is only temporary. As the Autobots mourn their fallen and honor Jetfire's sacrifice, Optimus realizes the war has entered a dangerous new era—one where Galvatron's return has made the Decepticons more powerful than ever before.
